Christmastime is the perfect time of the year and I am always looking forward for this momentous event. At first, I thought that it's all about gifts that make Christmas merry to celebrate. But mom told me that it's Jesus' birthday so we all have to sing him praises and glory. But of course, gift-giving has been part of the event so as expected I received more and more gifts even before Christmas. I feel like I'm the one celebrating a birthday hehehe!

To Celebrate Christmas in Cavite

I was so happy to hear it from mom that she got an overseas call from dad's aunt and we're invited to celebrate Christmas in Cavite. It only means that we'll be traveling again to Manila, which is only 30 minutes away from Cavite.

I am already excited especially that all of my dad's cousins (my titas and tito) will be celebrating Christmas with us. Mom said that I've been there too since dad and her stayed there for almost two years.

I'm sure we'll have a great Christmas this year! I'm looking forward to that...

Manila Getaway!

We just arrived home from our Manila getaway. We spent 3 days and 4 nights in Manila at lola-aunt's house in Pasig City. It was not planned actually. My mom had his impulsiveness attack again. Dad got an SMS from his boss informing him of their meeting in Manila. And so mom said that we'll be coming with dad to at least have some time to relax.

It's my first time in Metro Manila so it's expected that I was so engrossed looking at those big buildings, which I call house. And since it's Christmas holidays, almost all places are decorated with Christmas lights. I was overwhelmed and very excited to see more of its like. I also experienced how it is to ride in a very long train, which mom calls MRT. Well, mom and dad said that I've been in Metro Manila for many times already when I was still in my mom's womb. While dad was still in school, mom would wait for him at the mall. And of course, I'm with mom that time so it's not actually the very first time that I set my feet in the big city.

On our first day, we went malling with mom, Uncle Bon, Lolo-Uncle Boylan, Lola-Auntie Edna, Tita Chai and Tito Edronne. The next day, we went malling again with mom and Uncle Bon. On our last day, dad finally able to make it since their meeting ended the night before the third day. My mom, dad and I went to Mall of Asia and later that afternoon, Uncle Bon and Uncle Boylan joined us at the mall after their work. We didn't waste time so we had a lot of photos taken, strolled around the mall and eat our hearts out. Mom and dad had to rush shopping since our trip was 8:30 that evening. And I can see how disappointed my mom was for not being able to find an item for her. She even tried to ask dad if we can move our scheduled trip. Well, dad said NO since he has to work the next day. At exactly 8:30 we arrived at Philtranco Bus Terminal. Thank God we're not late.

Little Tarzan Turned 3

Mom and dad gave me a simple yet cool birthday party. Now that I turned 3, I portrayed as Little Tarzan in our simple abode decorated by my artistic mom with the help of uncle-lolo daz. It was raining so some of my invited guests weren't able to make it, but still our simple abode was crowded with guests, especially kids.

I am very happy to see a lot of people celebrating with me on my birthday. It's such an honor for me to have a loving and thoughtful mom and dad who never get tired of showing their unconditional love. They often tell me how blessed they are for having me as their son. And I must say that if they feel it that way, I also feel that I'm more blessed for having them as my parents. Thank you mom and dad! I love you both!

The most awaited event has come to its end so allow me to show you how I participated and enjoyed much at the Halloween Party held at Landco Plaza this afternoon.

Mima and Uncle Jom-Jom tagged along with mom and I. The party started with a Halloween Party Trick or Treat, and we had it at the 3rd/F Pacific Mall. Mom accompanied me while Mima and Uncle Jom-Jom waited on their seats at the plaza. It was fun and I got a lot of candies to munch on later. But I must admit I got tired and so with mom since we almost run after Hetty as we dropped by at every store in the 3rd floor.

Mom let me wore my Spiderkid costume, which happens to be my 1st Birthday Party costume. It's too big on me at the age of 1, but now that I'll be turning 3 mom and I were just so happy that this costume perfectly fits on me now. And yes, I'll be wearing this again in the upcoming Jollibee Halloween Party.

As expected, mom can't get enough of me the moment I put on this costume at home. She took out her cam and voila! Whew!

I got this from my very thoughtful daddy. Dad has just arrived from his trip to Quezon. And as what he promised me, he bought me this Pika-chu, my all-time favorite Pokemon!

And not just that, he also bought me a Pokemon DVD with 30+ series. I've been watching this cartoon show early in the morning via GMA Network. Now that I already have with me this Pokemon DVD, I can watch all the series at anytime I want to.

Uncle Jom-Jom came here yesterday and found him wearing a big hanky on his head while he's holding a pirate's sword. It was part of his costume as a pirate during their Intramurals. He gave me the sword and let me wore the big hanky on my head.

I'm an early bird who instead of catching the early worms, wakes up my mom from her super looong sleep. She used to wake up almost near lunch time and by that time I am already starved because mom is just about to cook for our lunch. So to wake her up, I would often shout at her with this line, "Mommy, alas dose na!" I get used to it so whether it's morning, afternoon or evening, I always say, "alas dose na!" I associated the line whenever I want to tell them that "hey! it's already late. hurry up!"

Just this afternoon, we had a little shopping and ate out with dad, Uncle Jom-Jom and mima. Mom was choosing a wristwatch for Uncle Jom-Jom and I am bragging my mom to buy me a wristwatch too. She hesitated since I don't know how to check the time yet. But I insisted that I already know how to tell the time, and once again, I was proud to tell them aloud that it's already 12 noon. And they all laughed at me. Sigh!

But since mom calls me as her bratty prince, she just gave in and asked me which among those wristwatches that I like most. I was about to choose the spiderman wristwatch, but mom said that the color black superman wristwatch looks nicer than the blue spiderman. Well, my mom knows best so what can I do?

A Wish Come True

Few weeks ago, I asked mom if she could buy me my own table and chair. You see, mom is always busy in her own desk. And I also wanted to have my own desk where I could do my kiddie tasks like coloring books, drawing, building blocks (lego), etc.

Just this afternoon, mom and dad tagged me along at the mall where we searched for a kiddie study table and chair. Mom was supposed to buy that not-so-cool study table and chair. But before she could pay for it, I told her that I don't like it. I headed to another sets of kiddie furniture to look for a best buy.

And guess what?! I found the best one so far...

I made sure that it's what mom had paid for so I checked the box if Pokemon is there.

As soon as we arrived home, dad grabbed his screw driver and started assembling my furniture. And he was able to assemble it in just less than an hour. Dad loves me so much hehehe!

Rianne Nicole's 1st Birthday Party!

A week ago, I got an invitation from Rianne Nicole (my mom's 2nd cousin=my aunt) inviting me to attend her first birthday party. And she just turned 1 today. The party was held at Graceland where I met Gweeny in person. I had so much fun even before the party had started.

While waiting for the other guests to arrive, the kids are playing around and so I mingled with them. I joined them riding on the merry go round. I heard the music playing so I went to the center and had my moves. I don't mind the people looking at me. In fact, I love looking at them smiling at me whenever I dance.

Then the party started with games. Of course, I joined the other kids, and guess what?! I was the winner for 3 consecutive games. I was so happy to receive the prizes, especially the Garfield stickers.

I was so tired but the experience had made my day so wonderful and exciting. After the games, I filled my tummy with oh so yummy food served at the party...Everybody seems to be busy with their food, I decided to break the silence when I grabbed the microphone at the table. I just dunno if they understand my lyrics...I'm singing a Korean song then, lolz!

One lazy afternoon, dad asked me if I want to come with him at the mall. He just wanted to unwind for a while and it's so very hot in here at home. Of course, I'd always love to go to the mall. Dad left us today for his trip to Manila. He told me that he'll be having a meeting with the boss so he really need to be away for 3 days. Of course, I am starting to miss him already. So what my mom did was to bring me at the mall. We had our lunch at the food court where I had my fave macaroni salad again. Thanks to mommy! Then we headed to the toy's store where mom bought me another "disposable" basketball set. Why disposable? Oh well, I dunno. hahaha! It just happened that everytime I got a new basketball ring and ball, it only lasts for a few days and gone...

Dad woke me up at 7:00 a.m. and asked me if I wanna go with him at the Pentecostal Church to see Jesus. So I quickly stood up to take my bubble bath. After we put on our clothes and my paraphernalias, dad and I left the house, where mom was still sleeping hehehe! She went to bed late with eyestrain so we let her catch more hours of sleep.

We arrived at the church a few minutes before the Holy Mass started. Pastor Dave approached me when I was looking for Jesus (with my ringing voice of course, lolz!). I was well-behaved all throughout the Holy Mass, listening to the sharing of Pastor Dave and dancing to the Spiritual tunes.

The mass ended at almost 12 noon. We went inside the Pacific Mall on our way to our house and when I saw bababee, I immediately dragged my dad and Mommy Mimin (dad's cousin) to buy me my fave Jollibee fries. They kept on tellin' me that it's already lunch so it's time to eat mom's prepared lunch for us. I insisted that they buy me my fave fries only...dad can't stop me so he just bought the burger value meal, fries for me and burger for mom hahaha!

Dad and I used to spend time together either playing basketball or watching cartoons. But there was a time when I saw him watching Michael Jackson's concerts via Youtube so I got interested and sat beside him. It was overwhelming to see that man doing his amazing moves while singing. He is such a talented person, which is also the reason why dad has turned out to be a fan of him, his dancing tricks in particular. I also get hooked up by his moves so whenever I get a chance, I'd also try to do the moves.

Lesson 1: Coloring and Story-Telling with Mom

Mom and I went out to buy coloring-story books, crayons and pencil for my Lesson 1 at home. As soon as we arrived, I took my stuffs from the plastic bag and put them all in the table. Mom sat beside me and taught me the different colors and to where I should put it on the coloring book. And every time we flip the pages, mom was also reading the story of Peter Pan and I listened attentively to what she's saying.

We are not yet through with Peter Pan so tomorrow I'm sure it'll be another wonderful day for me and mom. And hopefully, after we finished coloring and reading Peter Pan, I would then have to deal with Pinocchio.

A Family Day in Pink

The clock says it's merienda time and I was really starving when mom assisted me in my bubble bath. Mom had to go to Western Union before 5 p.m. because Uncle Bon was already waiting at Sampaloc Branch so she only gave me a quick bubble bath, helped me wore my pink polo and accessories. I waited for mom and dad to get dressed. And then we headed to Western Union...

and to Metro Gaisano where we bought a portable fabric/stainless-made closet (that's what mom can only afford as of the moment)...she just need to transfer our clothes from the plastic drawer for her paper documents, books and collections.

And then we dropped by at Mama's house (great granny) before we went home...

A Red Day with Mommy and Tita Sweetie

Mom got bored so she decided to stroll at the mall. But since dad was still on his trip from Daet going back home, mom and I just went to Mama's house (great granny) instead of waiting for him. After an hour, mom asked Tita Sweet if she wants to come with us at the mall.

Well, I know mom can't handle me alone when we're out so she needs someone to help her. You see, I'm too heavy for her skinny body to carry me the whole afternoon. I don't wanna walk, unless mom rents me that push-car at the mall.

We waited for Tita Sweetie to dress-up. And as we headed to the mall, I heard them planning to watch for Sam Milby's arrival later that afternoon. I just gave out a sigh! Tita Sweetie who's just 15 years old seemed so excited to see Sam in person.

While we're too early for the arrival of Sam Milby, we went first at WOF where I played my fave hobby, basketball.

After that, mom bought me a cotton candy. T'was my first time to taste that stuff and I love it!

I've had enough of rides so I asked mom to rent me a push-car. I cried when she hesitated, but she just gave in. So there I was, strolled around the mall. We went to the Castle Playhouse.

I could have joined them, but since I'm only 2 years old, mom should also come with me. It's alright though, but mom should wear socks so she can get inside. Sigh! So I just suit myself staring at those kids. Someday, I'll join them too. And mom promised me that...

1 hour was over so mom said that it's time to return the push-car. I still don't wanna get out from that push-car, but when I saw bababee I just told mom that we could just eat my fave papafries after we return the push-car.

After filling my tummy with a Jabee treat, we went upstairs to buy a 2GB flash drive. And then we headed at Landco Plaza to wait for the most awaited "heart-throb" Sam Milby. Is he a real heart-throb? Ask mom and Tita Sweetie. I noticed that they got so excited when Sam finally arrived. But me? Well, I fell asleep...ZzzzZZzzzz....

Had Dated Mom and Dad for Dinner

We went out for a dinner date tonight. The truth is, I was asleep and so mom and dad just decided to go out and leave me here with Mima (grandma). But there's something that woke me up so I got up from bed and told them that I'll be going.

It was raining so I chose to wear my denim jumper shorts, put over the sleeveless jacket mom bought from "ukay-ukay" (she's good at choosing the best for me) and wore my Old Navy bullcap. Mom told me to just wear slippers since it's raining but I insisted to wear my shoes. She doesn't want to argue with me so she slipped on my shoes. Before we reached the gate, I remembered that I forgot to wear my necklace and bracelet. Mom just gave out a sigh upon hearing me that. But before she went back, she informed me that I must not suppose to wear my shades because it's already dark and raining outside. I have no choice so I just insisted that she get my necklace and bracelet for me.

I saw mom and dad looked at each other and gave out a sigh. Well, I know how much they love me. And I'm grateful for that.

I thought that we'll be going to the mall, but mom said that it's already late and the mall is closed at that hour. We headed to Jollibee-Albay. And while we're waiting for the food, dad and I went to the Play Area and mingled with some kids for a while. And then we all went upstairs for our dinner.

And whether it's lunch, snack or dinner, I always have with me my fave "french fries". I dipped every strip to my fave "tomato catsup" and savor its taste. Mom also shared me her C3 meal with extra rice so I ended up with a full tummy tonight. After the meal, we had our Rocky Road Sundae dessert and all that complete my dinner date with mom and dad.

I'll be back "bababee...!"

Mom Bought Me a New TV

I was surprised when mom and Tito Shieg came home with a very big box. I knew it, it's a TV! It's on the box. I was so happy and excited to open it, but before we did, I had to sit on top of the box and posed for a while. Here are some of the photos taken...

After the pictorial, Tito Shieg (dad's 1st cousin) helped my mom in setting up the TV since dad went to Quezon for an audit. I was so impressed of how it looks. It is far cooler than Mima's TV (joke!). I heard mom telling Mima that it's an LCD 21" TV with swing mode feature. I'm so proud of my mom that she's able to buy another investment for our new family. Yes, I've actually seen her turning the screen to the left and to the right and I want to try it too. But mom warned me that I have to keep distance from the TV because it might fall should I forget to behave well.

A Not-So-Blue Yellow Family Day

I call this day a not-so-blue yellow family day. And for mom and dad, it's a thanksgiving day because I finally recovered from sore eyes. Yes, my left eye got infected and it wasn't just an ordinary sore eye. It's been a week that I suffered from it so it made me and much more my dad and mom happier when I got well.

So we headed to the mall wearing my fave blue and yellow Garfield shirt. And since my tummy has always been wanting a Jabee treat so we had our merienda time first before we went to WOF.

See my eyes? I was a bit shy for cam during those times when I got sick...you see, my left eye doesn't yet go back to its normal state.

Oh by the way! Right after filling my tummy with Jabee treat, we headed directly to WOF for my basketball event once again. Take a look at my best shots below...

I had so much fun today with mom and dad. We went out, filled my tummy with my fave Jabee foods and mom decided to buy something for my girl friend, Chantal. We were actually planning to drop by at their house to pay for a visit when Mommy Dhen texted mom that they are not yet at home so we might just want to drop by at Graceland, where they are having their dinner with Chantal's granny.

So there, I also had so much fun playing with my girl friend, Chantal Zoe. She's really cute but I get so shy whenever she comes close to me...

Sunday - We all went to the mall for our family day. We've been used to it and I am always looking forward to that day. Mommy rented me a car where I had seated as we strolled around the mall. And it was adeee who pushed the car. I really had great time passing by crowded people, going up and down through the elevator.

Hmmm...One more time mommy?

It was quarter to 1 p.m. when we finally went out of the house to eat our lunch. We woke up late this morning so dad wasn't able to prepare food for our lunch. They just decided that we will have it at the food court. So right after eating our lunch and had three spoonful of mom's fave macaroni salad, I insisted that we go to WOF. Here are the photos taken...

I Just Turned 2

This post could have been posted a few days ago, but mom was super busy so it’s just now that I’m able to tell you guys that I already turned 2 last November 5. The celebration was not really as extravagant as what I had a year ago on my first birthday. Actually, mom told me earlier that we would be celebrating my birthday with only the three of us, mom, dad and I. She told me that adeee would like to cherish my birthday with no hassles. Adeee hates the idea of rushing to the market to buy something to cook, cook a lot of kilos to complete the menu, prepare the tables and chairs, plates and condiments, decorations, and all. With all the initial preparation in mind could have really left mom and adeee exhausted. Come to think of it, you’ve already exerted all the effort on the party preparation, and yet you still have to do the cleaning after the party, sigh!

Mom also added that they really want to feel the essence of my birth, so disturbance by any means is out of the topic.

Here’s how mom and adeee made me one of the happiest ‘lil kiddo on earth…

Prior to my birthday, mom bought me a dozen of colorful balloons and hanged them all over the bedroom. She even tied 3 balloons with a metallic green ribbon attached on it. If my memory serves me right, there were 2 groups of 3 balloons on the walls, 1 group was hanged on the corner, above mom’s computer, 3 balloons lined on the curtain’s string, and one balloon with its metallic green ribbons hanged on the wall.

I was so happy and excited when I saw her and adeee working on the balloons. I felt really special whenever they do me favors. So I’d often give them kisses and hugs in exchange for the love they are showering me. When I grow older, I’d give them more than just kisses and hugs to show how I treasured them as my parents.

Before they went to sleep at 12:02 a.m., they first kissed me and whispered to my ears, “Happy birthday baby! We love you!”

The next morning when I woke up at around 7:00 a.m., I heard them singing a Happy Birthday song, and when I checked them, it wasn’t only mom and dad who were there, but also mima, dadu, uncle jom-jom and uncle bon. I told myself that since birth I am already feeling this special treatment from these loving people. They didn’t grow tired in loving me. Thank you so much!

Mom had to go to work so we left early to drop by at my great grandpa and grandma’s house. These people, including my mom’s aunts and uncles, mom’s cousins, always love to see me. I feel really blessed right from the start, lolz! After being passed from one’s arms to another, we then rode on a jeepney. Mom went to the office, while Adeee and I went to Mama’s (adee’s grandma) house where once again, I have to be kissed and hugged so tightly by mama and adeee’s cousins. I’m used to it, though.

I thought that my birthday would just end that way. At 5:30 p.m., mom arrived, and the three of us headed to the mall. We had a Jollibee treat, where I had my fave French fries, saucy spaghetti, Coke and choco sundae. Mom munched on her saucy spaghetti, French fries and Swirly Bitz-oreo (her favorite), while adeee had his chicken with spaghetti and coke. My mom was trying to capture pictures of us, but I accidentally spilled my Coke so adeee asked the cellphone from my mom and told us that we just have to focus on our food. Hmmm…camera shy, lolz!

So right after bulging our stomach with very delicious treats from bababeee, we then headed upstairs. Mom and dad attempted to buy tickets for the bump car ride, but sad to say, the lady in the booth did not permit me to ride with them. We have no other choice so I just rode on the train. It was really exciting seeing my dad and mom waving for me as I passed by them. Right after the train, we went to the World’s of Fun where I had fun riding on different rides. Mom and dad also had played the arcade, and the winner was of course, my adeee! Poor mommy hehehe!

Before we left the place, I first stood on the dance revo floor where I had my great moves. I really had a great time with my mom and dad. I thought that we’ll be going home already. But to my surprise, mom and dad still bought a cake for me, a number 2 candle, a grilled chicken and ice cream. Hmmm….Is the celebration not yet over?

When we arrived home, I saw mima, dadu, uncle jom-jom and uncle bon-bon preparing foods. So there I found out that the celebration is really not yet over. I was already full, but when I saw all of them including my mom and dad, I still wanna crave for more hehehe! It was just a simple family dinner party, but just the thought of their efforts makes me feel more loved. So I wanna say “Thank you!” for the love you are all giving me.

I Cried for the Very First Time

The rays of the sun was about to seep through darkness when suddenly I felt like there's something that was forcing me out. It was 5:00 in the morning when I felt that urge. Hours had passed, 6, 7, 8, and 9:00 a.m. when I was able to kick a 'lil more. Yes, there was blood but it was just so light. I waited for two hours until 11:00 a.m. when I felt that quick touch on the surface of my blanket. I really wanted to leave this idle place I've been lying for 9 months now. I moved a little closer to that soft surface, taking all the effort I could get to push myself out. Alas! I was able to kick so strong that seems to be a "water bag". I was filled with blood all over my tender body, and I was wishing to escape from it so soon.

There was a force helping me out to go through with the push and pull motion. I don't know from where it came from, but all I wanted then was to get rid of the bloody scene I'm into. Few minutes have passed when at last I was able to slide down as guided by Dr. Tanchuling. It was 1:40 p.m. as shown in the clock when I finally realized that the nine months of being with my mom's womb was over. An overwhelming cry echoed in the room, letting mom understand what I really wanted to tell her, "Thank you mommy!"
